Support Group Updates – April 1, 2021
Due to the breakout of COVID-19, many churches and community centers continue to be closed, to reduce the spread of the virus and to protect vulnerable populations. As a result, many of our statewide support groups temporarily will remain canceled until these sites are open once again.
Survivors of Suicide (SOS), a service of EMPACT-Suicide Prevention Center, is a support program for those whose common bond is the loss of a loved one to suicide. The program allows members to have the emotional support of others who have shared the trauma of this event. The focus of the program is on emotional healing and survival.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 15th Annual Virtual Jeremyah Memorial Walk Ceremony on February 6th – It was a beautiful day!
